I first met Simon as an Examiner when he was standing in for Prof.Klenerman, M.Ch.Orth exams. He was a fair examiner.
Photo of Simon with his eye-catching tie taken during his first year in Liverpool enclosed.
Met Simon many later when I was appointed as a consultant..
He was welcoming, kind and generous.
Remember him buying me a cuppa at Starbucks across the road and having a long chat despite his other, busy commitments.
Time is a gift and sadly Simon's time has ended in this world.
I owe you a cuppa Simon, when we meet in due course.
Meanwhile your charity will continue your legacy.
Thoughts and prayers are with Margaret and Family.
